Travel Information:

By Air:  Scheduled flights to and from Aberdeen offer a very comprehensive domestic network including all 3 London Airports with an approximate flying time of 1.5 hours. Flights are also available from Newcastle, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, East Midlands, Humberside, Leeds, Bradford, Norwich, Southampton and Teeside. Scottish flights are from Glasgow, Inverness, Kirkwall, Wick and the Shetland Isles.  For the International delegate, flights are available from Schiphol Airport, Belfast, Bergen, Copenhagen, Esbjerg, Frankfurt, Oslo, Paris and Stavanger.

By Rail: The City also benefits from excellent rail links to all major cities in the UK including 9 daily services to London, 6 of these being direct with a traveling time of 7.5 hours.

By Road: Aberdeen is easily accessible by the road networklinking Scottish cities to the UK motorway system.

Getting to and from the airport:  The airport is located at Dyce, about 7 miles from the centre of Aberdeen. Taxis from the airport to the University cost around 10. Airport buses link to the city centre.
