Seventh Banff Conference on
Allograft Pathology

June 14 - 18, 2003
University of Aberdeen
Aberdeen, Scotland

The Conference:
With this 2003 meeting the Banff consensus process is now in its twelfth year. This meeting promises to be the most exciting and productive ever!

This is the first time the Banff meeting has been held outside of Banff, Canada, and we are celebrating the happy fact that the original town of Banff is in Scotland and the adjacent city of Aberdeen proves to be an excellent place to hold a meeting!

The program includes all the important subjects from previous meetings plus new sessions on monocyte/macrophages tubulitis, gene analysis/microarrays, tolerance/accommodation/immunodepletion, and antibody-mediated rejection/C4d.

A prominent component of the program is the poster sessions. Abstracts will be solicited for an April 2003 deadline.

The 2003 Banff meeting immediately follows and is an official satellite of the International Congress of Nephrology in Berlin June 8-12, 2003

In addition to the subjects listed in the preliminary program we are also planning a very interesting session on chronic allograft nephropathy.  The preliminary program lists kidney sessions, but once again there also will be a full program for liver and heart directed by Drs. Jake Demitris and Rene Rodriguez.

Please register now to reserve your place at this exciting meeting!
