The new complex designed with an 8m ceiling height, offers convention room, backup rooms and other rooms totalizing 6,500 m˛ to create and innovate in events.
More specifically, the space provides four main modular salons (in the style of an auditorium) that can seat 500 people in each one: dressing room, IT room, locker room, kitchen and mezzanine.
Since the island is fully kitted out with Wi-Fi, you can be connected to the network at all times. Technology dominates the new Events Space. The most up to date sound, lighting and media integration services are available for even the most complex and demanding events.
The temperature of the Event Center during the Banff meeting will be around 21C (70F). Light jackets are suggested inside the Convention Center.
Comandatuba is a very informal place and the temperature ranges from 17C to 26C (63F to 79F) in this season of the year.
No tie will be requested for any event.
The hotel has a business center and the Banff meeting will provide a backup room at the Convention Center during the meeting hours.
The entire hotel (including the convention center) offers complimentary WiFi connection.
The hotel has a 24 hour medical center with a doctor and a nurse for first aid. This service will be charged to the guest room.

Attendants will receive registration material at the time of check in, as well as a plastic bracelet (also available for accompanying person) to be identified as a member of the event.
All reservations will be based on “run of the house” availability.
The room rate includes breakfast, lunch and dinner for the attendants and accompanying person. Non alcoholic drinks are included only during these meals. Alcoholic drinks will be free of charge only at the welcome reception and gala dinner.
Banff meeting attendees will be identified by a bracelet that will be handled at the hotel registration upon arrival.
The hotel provides a child care service (nannies) to be hired directly with the hotel. Baby-sitters must be hired before your arrival.
The hotel provides Baby Kitchen, which is a comfortable and practical place where mothers and nannies count on infra-structure for the preparation of bottles, baby food and anything else babies may need.
The hotel offers the following items for your baby:
Crib: must be booked with reservation at no charge.
Baby Stroller: can be rented upon check-in at the cost of R$ 35 (aprox. USD 18) for the entire stay.
Upon request, a certificate of attendance can be issued at the time of registration to delegates who are pre-registered. For onsite registrations, a certificate will be available at the end of the Conference. No certificates will be issued after the Conference.
